![]() Maybe if the app was usable, I could find more broken features, but I've already had to bag it and switch back to DoubleTwist - which I don't particularly like, but at least it works. I mounted the SD card to my PC to verify that the tag information. Is that enough? I'm sure that's plenty to consider this product defective, but perhaps your standards are far, far lower. In android 2.2 it reads the mp3 files fine, but files all my wma files under unkown artist. The same tracks play with both the free version of MMA and DoubleTwist and every other player I have tried. Even the tracks which I have managed to sync to the portable device only play for ~30 seconds before stopping with no explanation. Enough so that it'd take weeks to sync my library. ![]() However, please be aware that on 'dual storage' device like the Galaxy S4 with both internal storage and external SD cards, only songs in the location set by the 'Storage:' switch will be pushed back to iTunes. USB sync does not work - suffers the same scanning problem as wireless sync, and is far slower for no apparent reason, to boot. In a recent sync I noticed one track didnt sync due to an 'Unknown Error. With 'reverse sync' disabled, playlist changes are not pushed back to iTunes but ratings and play counts are. Other music players look at the root /Music folder and cannot change that - this currently forces me to sync then move the folders manually. When doubleTwist Music Player is uninstalled, these files will be removed along with the app. Files are being sent to 'Android\data\\files\music'. Also, due to the changes made in Android 4.4 (KitKat) by Google, files synced by doubleTwist or podcasts downloaded by doubleTwist to the SD card are stored inside of the Music Player app directory. There's another thread here on this subject, which I'm sure you can find. Is there a way to change where the sync folder exists on the sd card Such as root /Music. Enter the following command (make sure to replace X with the letter assigned to the SD card you want to fix) and press Enter: chkdsk X: /f (The /f parameter tells CHKDSK to fix all memory card errors.) Wait for CHKDSK to finish. Wifi sync does not work - if I enable it, MMA never stops scanning for new media, and renders my phone well nigh unusable, since it uses up all the battery charge in short order, and in fact, consumes energy at a rate equal to that which charging replaces it. Type cmd in the search box on the taskbar and select Run as administrator. Can you please be more specific on what else do not work? On an Android device with no SD card slot, files are synced to the top level /Music folder in internal storage.
